Issues with PropertyObserver in SL

I was playing around with the PropertyObserver (Silverlight 4.0) and noticed that it is based on the types and not the concrete instances of the type. If I have two observers that are observing different instances of the same type, both observers raises the registered behavior 2 times even they should raise it only once.

Also if I have registered one observer to observe multiple properties, all the registered behaviors are called when any of the properties are changed.

I was wondering if that is the intented behavior since that won't occur in WPF. I hope that my little description made any sense, but I can provide testing code if needed.
